A quarter with a cinematic history and a visionary future
International film productions such as "The Hunger Games" and "Inglorious Basterds" have already been shot on this historic site. Particularly impressive: for Quentin Tarantino's blockbuster, the iconic cinema set was entirely built in an existing building and served as the central location for the film's key scene.
Now a new future is opening up for the site. The site comprises several halls, a boat landing stage and a bridge, which acts as the entrance and architectural entrée to the emerging quarter.
In two construction phases, a lively mix of high-quality living space and diverse commercial areas will be created here.
